TECH-SOURCE is a West Australian owned company offering electrical control & automation components and solutions to a growing number of industry sectors. With almost 4 decades of trading under our belt, you could say we know a thing or two about what we do.

TECH-SOURCE is a distributor of high-quality Process Control and Automation products. Our brands include Omron Electronics, APCS, Stemar,
Meanwell, Novaris, Fastron, ABB and other world class manufacturers.
With such an esteemed inventory, our fully trained Australian based sales & support team are here to guide you towards correctly
specified products for your application.
Established In 1986, founders, Robert (Bob) Swadel and Michael (Mike) Snadden, set out to provide industry with a modest inventory of control and automation components that they had expertise in delivering and maintaining.
A small leap forward to 1990 and TECH-SOURCE expanded, with Tony Forder joining the team to provide expertise and knowledge in PLC’s and their programming. At that time TECH-SOURCE also expanded its inventory to include Motor Protection, Power Protection & Power Quality products, with Tony leading the charge to enable TECH-SOURCE to establish Multilin in to Major Mining & Industry in Western Australia.
Nine years on, and with a reputation becoming firmly established in the motion control sector, ABB sought to establish an alliance with TECH-SOURCE. An alliance which is still going strong today. TECH-SOURCE are proud to be a Value-Added Partner for ABB’s range of Drives and Motion Products.
Moving forward with TECH-SOURCE to today….
With the passing or Bob Swadell, TECH-SOURCE ownership became a 50/50 partnership between Mike Snadden and Tony Forder. Following Tony's retirment in 2022, the business is now owned and operated by Mike Snadden, with management assistance from executives Tony Coates, Parth Shah & Michael Kenny; all experts in their respective fields.
With the new management team in place, TECH-SOURCE recently expanded into South Australia and the Northern Territory, through the acquisition of Surge-Tech. Whilst the Head Office & Warehousing Facilities remain in Perth WA, TECH-SOURCE now have staff on the ground to assist you in those states, offering full access to our product range, and our team of experts.
